Mr. Meow will be going into surgery this Friday. I am both scared and hopeful.

Could we possibly find a NON-cancerous tumor? After all, his orignal blood work up looked good. And the ultrasound only showed a lump, not what KIND of lump.

This week will be a long wait..........

I am praying for you, Mr. Meow. I love you!

Will keep good thoughta and prayers.
Not to be a downer, justing being realistic, good blood work up doesnt mean the tumor isnt cancerous. Thumper had normal blood work and all her organs were clean.

I know....... Just trying to be hopeful. No use worrying about things you can't change. (If it is cancer, I won' change that by worrying about it....know what I mean?)

    I understand about being hopeful
It's ok to worry, it's being human and caring about your fur babies.

I've always been under the impression that a tumor that isn't attached to anything, is movable, and is squishy, is less of a worry than something hard and fixed in place. I'm hoping that is what it is in Mr. Meow's case.

Jen, you and Mr. Meow are in my prayers. I think you are doing the right thing, given his age. Any chance at life is a good thing at this point!!!!

Jenn, it is never easy making such a decision. Many prayers for Mr. Meow, and for you, too. I think I read that you wrote that the tumor was " movable." I think cancerous tumors are hard and fixed...
