Kay, it is so wonderful that you're spending such quality time with your grandmother. Cherish the bond you have with her.

Your pumpkin is sooo cute!!! And Nala is ever so adorable, bet she didn't mind considering the outcome was SO cute!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.

In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Kay, I love your doggie pumpkin! And I also like the glimpse of the helper by your Memaw's left elbow in the first picture. Great pics, as always!

Edited to add: Hmmm, pumpkin biscotti ... you gave me a thought ... I have a family member who dislikes pumpkin pie so I'm always on the hunt for other pumpkin desserts. Biscotti (or some other kind of pumpkin bar cookies) would work great. There's an Italian butcher / grocer not far from where I work, I'll check there.

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
