You will be in our prayers. Please don't try St. John's Wort without speaking to a knowledgeable doctor, as it can interact with other medications in dangerous ways. I know what a struggle depression can be, not first-hand. But I know how frustrating it can be when a medicine just stops working, or becomes unavailable. Maddening!

When my mother was in college in the 1940's, her professor told her that he was sure that in ten years they'd know everything there was to know about the human brain and how it functions.

Would that that were true, even 60 years later! (And yes, she thought he was crazyily optimistic then.)
