    Hi Laura,

I am very glad that you were able to get a reading done on Boo. Nancy has done readings on all the cats in the house and I had one like you. Miss Bear was NOT happy with life and felt that she had been short changed (her previous owner moved to CA from MD and was going to put her in a shelter at 11yo). After her reading, Miss Bear and I have "reached an understanding". She will never be a cuddely lap cat but she seems much more pleasant to be around now. She has a room to herself with none of the other cats bothering her.

So giving Boo time maybe the best thing you can do for her...

Nancy was really on target with Ally cat too... Ally's just mean. I feel bad for her, and would love to be able to cuddle her and make her feel better, but she's just nasty. She's evil to other cats and bites cats and people. Sigh.

Poor Boo... Too bad there isn't a blanket or something that smells like "mom" for her. I hope she will learn to keep her aggression to herself and not do serious damage to the others!

I think a lot of people underestimate the feelings and emotions that animals feel. I also think that animals have personality disorders just like people do (I swear Ally is schizophrenic... her pupils dilate and everything and she just turns like a switch went off).

laura, it's really nice that she can help you with boo and I hope for a positive change from now and on.

echoing what catmandu said, never have had my ark that needed a reading but I can imagine the misery you're experencing. just last week I thought about having nancy to talk with locke (my latest kitty) because he's somewhat upset - it only takes nancy a few minutes - days from pictures...

but with my patience I remember locke was shredded badly by one evil cat when I dropped him off and went gone for "too long" (three days camping), then went missing along with all of my other cats for about a week, then went and lived in a motorhome out nowhere in country with 10 of my "furstrangers" and me going in and out too many times commuting from/to the city and didn't get to see him or my other kids for another month and half because of recuperating and hospital visits.. then lastly, he survived the drive across america knowing no one actually.

poor him! he haven't really 'met' his meowmie yet or know he may be ok now until just two weeks ago (again, been in and out with meetings and second surgery recovery) after a LONG summer.. so I don't blame him at all and trying to gain his trust as much as he can tolerate, slowly. presently, sometimes he'd sulk like he never knew me, totally opposite of sweetness when I first met, well, picked him up. all I know he's not angry.. anyway, I hope this can give you some hope - maybe there's a boo you've never met before and she's waiting for you. it was said that she's staying with you... I wish you and her a better & peaceful life soon. how long has she been with you now?

Isn't Nancy the best? I just had a follow-up on Mitzi - my little mynx has been meowing a lot - especially when I go to bed or in the a.m. when I'm in the shower. Turns out, she just wants attention! We've gotten into the habit of having a daily play time and now Mitzi wants MORE! She also got confused when I took a short vacation and left her alone - she thought she had done something wrong! Poor little bean.

RedHedd... awwe! She thought you left because she had done something wrong... That is just so pitiful...

sandragonfly.. I have had Boo since feb., this year...and after this reading, I am glad as all get out that we did not put her through that 5 day trip with my sister and husband when they moved to Washington State. Poor thing, a 5 day trip in a moving truck probably would have done her in!

Everyone... people just do not understand the feeling a animal has. We never realized that Boo was tramatized by Mama's death or even all the moves since Mama died. Coming to live with me was her 5th move in 7 years,.... No wonder she feels so tossed about! We thought all this time that she just settled in really good and stayed on the bed all day because she liked the quiet bedroom.. My heart breaks for her now that I know all this and it makes me love her even more.

Nancy is so good at doing this and so "right on the money" with it.. Things are still falling in place that she said and making more and more sense to me.

Awwww, Mitzi! I was just thinking about you this morning. I have to tell you, there's a rule at our house. When I'm showering, the bathroom door HAS to stay open so Cassie can go in and out. She usually waits in the bathroom and leaves when she hears the water go off because she knows she will get dripped on as I step out. Tell your meowmom that sleep and baths are hereby restricted in favor of play time! I was just thinking of your beautiful fluffiness today.

I HIGHLY RECCOMEND NANCY to EVERYBODY!! She will amaze you and things will suddenly fall into pace now that you understand. It'll make so many light bulb moments when you put it together with what has been going on in your house..

... part of the grieving process.... is ANGER! I think that was the beginning of Boo's anger. From now on, I will look at ALL cats thing and remember they have the exact same reactions and feelings as humans.

moosmom, all I know is she is in a different time zone than me, there is a hours differance in where she lives and where I live.

She lives in Michigan and I've also talked to her before but since I'm 3 hours behind her it's very hard to set up a good time for both of us.
