the boy is alive but critical as of this a.m. Dr's had to remove his pancreas (sp?) and the shot (one shot) also injured his spleen, stomach, diaphram and nicked part of his lung. Dr's are encouraged after last night though, that he is holding his own. Still no word on any progress of catching this monster or even knowing of a suspect. But then I'm sure they are not letting the press know all they know (for good reasons I'm sure).
