I elected to give you a positive response, but some folks didn't. I am sorry for that, but you may have had a different result if you had just mentioned having an appointment etc.

I think there would have been different responses if it had been mentioned that you had a vet appointment.

thank you for the welcome (Dane too) I was scared but relieved it was nothing serious...no i have a long rd ahead of me b/c i get to bottle feed 8 puppies ;D
thank you again sasvermont for your response. I love all animals as well and hope to meet more of you and see what everyone else has to say here.
The mommy of the puppies is a pitbull that had came to home abused and so skinny and we took her in and here not long after we have our budles of joy...no clue what daddy was but looking at the pups maybe aussie shepard. She has been such a good dog no matter her breed. shes the first pure pit i have ever own and you can tell she wasn't taught well but still shes my joy.

Most puppies can lap gruel by 3 weeks, so you won't have a really long time of bottle feeding.

Best of luck getting them raised. Be VERY CAREFUL. If she is stepping on them, once they start getting more mobile it becomes more dangerous instead of less with careless bitches.

And of course we need PHOTOS!!!
