Oh boy, that's scary when a cat w/that type of disposition at the vet's doesn't do what he normally does. Sounds like my Puddy and when my vet calls about her, he wants to hear that she has hissed and growled, etc. If they don't give him that report, he knows something's wrong. So I can relate to what you're saying. But you know that my Puddy has bounced back so many times and Chestnut can, too. We're all praying for him and you, too. Keep us posted.

Thanks everyone, it really means a lot. Chestnut is 9. I found him, a one pound sick little kitty. He has been fine after recovering from all those baby things.
He sits in hiding, won't come out, and doesn't do a thing but sleep. I feel badly doing NOTHING, waiting for the blood test results. But he ate more of the a/d, so he is taking in a little bit.
