Thanks for the comments, etc... SO.. I did go to the vet(in a letter/note) and asked her about generics and/or whether I could get a prescription for 2-3 months so I could order on line.. SHE, very kind for the mostly disgusting veterinarians here in Phoenix) did just that.. So..I have a three month supply prescription(180 pills) and I contacted a mail order catalog people that had sent me their catalogs in the past and they said YES, they could do it ONLY with a prescription so I sent it in with a money order for about $143 which would have otherwise cost me $500. The company that I ordered from is "Doctors Foster and Smith"..... If anyone is interested, I can give you their 800 number, etc etc.
