If you want to do it yourself, you need patience, but try putting a wet glove (one of those you use for rubbing yourself with exfoliator) on and stroke your cat with that - possibly dipped in a mild solution of hair conditioner. Then, after that, it will be easier to comp through the hair. Use a comp with wide "teeth" at first. And make sure to clean off the hairconditioner also, or she may try to lick it off herself.

If this doesn't work, I think a groomer will be a good idea. .)
