What a horrible week.
I thought I was going to loose him. He’s been so very sick after his surgery.
Very lethargic and didn’t eat anything for 5 days, vomiting and diarrhea.
I don’t know if the pain medication (Metacam) or the antibiotic Clavamox) made him sick. He’s been back to the Vet 5 times for shots and Fluid. We tried anti nausea shots and Cyproheptadine, Hills A/d, Tuna Chicken, Nutri-Cal and a variety of cat food to get him to eat. He would just sniff the food and than turn his head away.
Auggie was adding to the stress by hissing at him and basically freaking out over his vet smell. I was so upset.
Anyway, today he is finally eating and I’m so relieved.
I hope he is getting better.
