Wolverine came out next, and he's really mellow. I liked him a lot, but he was sleepy, so he didn't stay out to play very long.

I think he looks like a raccoon, with a mask. I told him that and he just sighed and said he heard that all the time.

Mommy and Daddy then sat me and Lucy down and made us promise to be gentle with Rogue if they brought her out. They explained to us that Rogue is a deaf ferret, and that if someone sneaks up behind her, she gets a little scared and will sometimes bite if she feels threatened! I'm glad they told me, because sometimes I'm sneaky!!!

I decided to investigate further, to make sure that she was in fact NOT a skunk



She wasn't luckily, so we played a little bit




One time I forgot my manners, and I tried to nibble on Rogue's ear a little bit, to see if maybe it would help her hear better. But she didn't like it, and neither did Mommy and Daddy!





Daddy held Rogue up in front of my nose and he told me "GENTLE" and he made me give her kisses to apologize. So I did, and she tasted funny!! I bet I tasted like peanut butter to her though.

Mommy and Daddy said that they were SO proud of me (and Max!) for how well we did with our first ferret play date. They said that now that they know I am trustworthy, we can play more often with them! Yay!
