Okay, first of all, you need to designate a hard drive that has plenty of free space on it as a "scratch disk." Photoshop NEEDS this, so you can "undo" things to multiple levels. You do this under preferences ...

Then, once you've done that, create a new document, and AS you create it, set the resolution to 72 dpi, if it is something you just want to see on screen. Also, doubleclick the magnifying glass so you are viewing your document at 100%. That also will help.

Thank you so much Karen! Apparently, my scratch disks were set to my C: drive, which has less than 1GB of space. I set it to my D: drive which as more than 8GB of space. Yes, my fonts are working properly now. Thanks a ton you guys!

Okay, new problem. This has been bugging me from the beginning but I thought I'd post it now for some reason. Anywho, on a normal photoshop you'd have a whole bunch of filters right? I only have 4 right now. My version isn't that old so I don't know why I don't have all the other ones I'm supposed to have. My brother has the exact same version as me but he has at least 20 more filters than I do. Here's a screenshot...

You need to show it where your old Filters and Plugins are - maybe move them to that drive, into the Photoshop folder, you'll see a Plug-ins folder - drop 'em in there then retsart the program.

I've done that before and it still doesn't work. I have them in my Photoshop folder, in my plug-in folder and they still don't work. Thanks for helping Karen!

Have you actually put them in the CS2 Photoshop Filters folder which is inside the Plug-ins folder?
