Godspeed Lady. You really were a very special girl. You were much loved by many here on PT and Tracy really showed you that you were worthy of being loved. Your time may have been short with her but it was quality and meant the world to her.

Tracy you were Lady's guardian angel here on earth and now she is yours from the Bridge. She will be there waiting for you with kisses and butt wiggles when that day comes.

I'm too sad from the day's events to make a new post, so I am just copying my post from her other thread to put here. I'm sorry Lady, they did everything they could.

I'm just crying my eyes out. First Emerson and now Lady. I expected to hear this but actually hearing it breaks my heart. I really identifed with her, my Ginger went through a lot of the same. Abuse before I got her, had a litter of pups freshly weaned the day I picked her up. SHe also got so sick and was in so much pain and almost died on me too, then I look at her now and she is so happy. I wanted that for Lady. I'm just heartbroken.

You did the best you could for her. At least in her last days you gave her love and happiness and she didn't leave this world alone and unloved.

Lady? You go find my momma up there - she'll be handing out biscuits and hugs, I am sure. Then introduce yourself to my Sheba, who has been there a long time - she's very smart, was also a rescue-girl, and will know all the good spots for everything up there.

Tracey, you did the best thing possible - you loved Lady, and gave her a home, and care, and found good homes for her puppies. Her legacy will live on through them, in every wiggly bottom.
