Thread: Chocolate Lab puppy scratching

    Take her back to the vet. Tell your vet that he still continues to scratch. If he doesn't do anything, or gives you the benadryl caps again, go to a different vet and see what happens.

    Definately, take her to the vet. The frontline should not do this, and it would be unusual for such a young puppy to have significant allergies (not impossible, but unusual). If your vet tries to give you another anti-histamine, ask for a referral (or find one yourself) for a veterinary dermatologist.
