The worst car was a rental that I had several trips back. A 2007 Chrystler 300. A very impressive looking car... We got off the boat up in Kentucky when one of those bad winter storms was appraoching and it was cold!! Well, the heater didn't work and 2 of the dash lights were on that signal the car needs to be serviced. This car only had 25,000 miles on it.

Looked up the meaning of those lights in the book in the glove box and one of the lights was a "toggle" (?) light. Instructions said you could still drive the car as long as the light was on but if it started blinking, you needed to stop and shut the car off immediately... GREAT! Here we are trying to beat the winter storm and had a long trip ahead and we had a car with problems..

We made it home on pins and needles but returning it to the airport the next day was ONE SCAREY RIDE! Stop and go traffic on the interstate for most of the way and towards the end, when I would let off the brake and press on the gas, there was a BIG ker-lunk in the back and the car would jerk forward real bad. I am convinced that if I had to stop and go 2 - 3 more times the transmission was going to fall out on the road. I was a nervous wreck when I got to the car return and I gave them a piece of my mind and told them they better not DARE rent that car again until they had it checked at the Chrystler dealership.. That was a horribale car!
