I am so sorry to hear about Cole. Seventeen years is a long time, and he knows that he was loved while he was in your care. (My Tabitha is 18! and we have been together since she was a kitten.)
Please know that everyone here at PT understands your grief, and we are here for you when you need to talk.

I see the look of experience and wisdom in his eyes. He is surely rejuvenated and back to his prime at the Rainbow Bridge, and he isn't tired any more.

Its hard when you lose a pet. I lost one of my cats by accedent and I only had him for 4 years at least you got 17 years. And yes it is hard to remember the good times when you feel sad.
