She's about the same size as a sloth I think. She stays about 9-10 pounds. She's a tamandua so a smaller anteater than the Giant. But they are close relations of sloths.
She does sleep a lot. She used to be up a lot more during the day when I first got her but as she settled in she settled to mostly sleeping all day and waking in the evenings to eat and play.
As for being creepy I had a couple people say this one reminded them of creatures from their childhood nightmares, lol
That would be a good caption GreayhoundGirl just stick a bowl in her hands
Yep, her liking her hands rubbed was one of the first things I learned about her. She usualy likes her hands rubbed as she goes to sleep at night then curles up around my hand. She usualy settles in when I do since I stay up late then is just up and down a couple times to eat.
Thanks for all the comments
Last ngiht she was standing up and had one foot on her food box and grabbed the camera then she fell and the whole thing toppled over on top of her. I set the camera down to go inspect the mess and her head was covered in baby milk powder and her butt covered in her gruel, lol. She wasn't phased and was headed back for my bed so wrapped her up in a towled and off the the bath to be hosed off. I only thought about a pic then but already had her wrapped up and wasn't going to let her go again.
She was not thrilled to say the least but when I was done she stayed in the tub and played with the shower drain. But that didn't last long because she started flicking her tongue down the drain and getting soapy bubbles at the mouth. Ew. So towled off and back to my room where she groomed herself out.
