She has her clowny side, and her devilish side, and she is beautiful! Imagine having a toy built right in, at the other end, to play with, nice and fluffy like that.
Vita is not nearly as long haired as Penny. I find brushing daily is a must. I just bought a slicker brush for Sugar (dog), and I am finding that works well for Vita too. Medium, not soft, bristles. Luckily for me, Vita enjoys being brushed up. As long as I stay away from the tail.She's not too keen on me brushing her "pantaloons," either, if you know what / where I mean.
But I do work in all of her, daily.
As for the oily fur, I have noticed Vita's is more like that than the short hairs, also. I give all my cats a bath every other month. Even though they are indoor cats. Be sure to clip nails FIRST if you attempt this!
