By reading Duke's story it just made me smile! He is such a pretty boxer and he sounds so adorable! I'm sorry he's in that kind of condition, but he sure doesn't show it! He sure is lucky to have someone who loves him so much! I know he loves you all as well.

I've always loved boxers. They are so neat! I bet his girlfriend is a cutie~! ~Champ~ that's a cute name...

What a great story you wrote about yourself!! We love meeting you today. You're a very handsome boy and we can see why your Mom fell in love with you. We're very sorry that you have problems with your health but it sounds like Mom is doing the very best she can for you and you appreciate it very much. It's too bad that Dad won't let you sleep in the bed but he probably thought you were just taking up all his room in there. Congrats on your big day, sweetheart!! We hope you and Champ have a wonderful day today filled with kisses, hugs, and plenty of cookies!! Please have Mom give you both some kisses from us!! Duke, what a beautiful boy you are! I really enjoyed reading your story and it sure sounds like you are loved alot by your mommy. I have a little girl who is half boxer/half lab and she is also very vocal and makes funny noises when she wants to get a point across to us. She even got bit by something one day this summer and broke out in hives just like you! I wonder if Boxers are prone to skin allergies, because her skin is also very sensitive and she's always got a pink belly or some spots between her toes. Hmmm. Anyway, enough about my girl. Today is your day and you deserve to get all the attention. You certainly seem like a very happy boy, and you are so lucky to have such a great family who care about you so much. Congratulations on being Dog of the Day!

Your mommy is taking good care of you and she's doing the best she can to help you. Don't let your problems slow you down. Keep being a happy dog. Don't let any person (or animal) change that! Dear handsome Duke! Oh we sure did love reading all about you, about the wonderful life you have been blessed with! You are so right, every creature deserves to be loved and cherished as you, know the unconditional love of a family like yours, a MOM as kind, caring and devoted as yours! Then again, who culd resist a doggie as handsome, charming, smart and sweet as you? I'd bet before long even your Dad invites you back up into the "big bed!"
