I wonder why they called that cat Beans? I always thought Surya was called Beans because he can really jump - it's hilarious watching the shock on other cats' faces when he does this. He's incredibly fast and looks ferocious.

Truth to tell, I like the physical appearance of only a few purebreeds - the "old fashioned" Siamese, the Abyssinian and the Bengal. Gummy Bear (awful name) was the only one that caught my fancy.

No Lizzie, I am not looking for another Persian. I got just what I wanted in Purrty. I just love to visit that site and look at all the beautiful cats looking for homes. They always have such beauties there!

Maybe they are fans of that one show on Disney, Even Stevens, with the character named Beans. If they have kids around and know that show, and it's pretty popular with young kids, that might be it too. Other than that, and the jumping Bean one, it's fairly odd, lol.
