Mike is going to take Daisy in tomorrow to have her put down. She is no longer eating or drinking. She is lying on the bed now. Please keep her in your thoughts as she crosses the Bridge.

I hate this season so much. Every year something happens...so much for joyful. I told Mike that next year the entire month of December is going to be boycotted....maybe we can avoid someone else dying.

I'm so sorry about Daisy. I hope it will be peaceful. It's so hard right here at Christmas. Please give her some love from us here at PT. I hope you can find the strength needed for the day ahead tomorrow. It won't be easy but we'll be here for you as best we can.

But she did hold on through Christmas, bittersweet that she did spend her last day home with the people who love her so. Give her a kiss from me tomorrow morning, okay? Hugs to all of you!

When my people found out I had canine osteosarcoma last year they were terribly upset. After my amputation I was in much less pain and I tried to explain to them that we dogs enjoy a better life by the time we're three than most humans do their entire life. I learned that from Cesar Milan's book, but I'm eight now and can attest its true ... The time I have left with the people who love me is icing on the cake!
