    I, too, have heard of this happening a lot. The body is a strange thing isn't it? I had trouble conceiving my first (tried two years) to the point of needing fertility drugs. When I tried for baby #2, I got pregnant the first time I tried (no drugs, no anything). Maybe our bodies are more relaxed when we already have one *in the nest.* Oh this is so much fun and I am sooo happy for you!

    Ha Ha!!!! What a great Christmas gift for all of you!!!! I have heard of this and known of this happening so many times. My cousin, Rick, and his wife wanted a baby and went through the same process you did. Before they were able to go to China to meet their daughter, his wife became pregnant. Timing worked out that when the little boy was 5 weeks old, he went to stay with his grandparents and my cousin and his wife headed to China to pick up their 2 year old daughter. They are waiting, now, for word of when they can go back to pick up their 2nd daughter.

    What a blessed Christmas in so many ways!

    (Isn't it amazing how often this happens...... maybe it's because you have FINALLY relaxed and stopped trying so hard.......or maybe there was a Greater Plan in motion - to make sure Mary Joyce found a wonderful home with you, and then giving you a second little blessing).
