I was about the say almost the same thing...weird...my little dogs don't get as much scraps but nobody ever has any problems with it. The inside dogs always get the last bites from moms plate (and sometimes mine, rarely dads) The only thing I DON'T feed my dogs is chocolate and grapes.

You might want to try carrots for your dogs (but not all dogs like them)

My oldest pom Missy (13 years) has a heart condition and has to avoid salt. She hated the no added salt expensive dog food so we cook her people food instead. I usually cook ground turkey with a liberal amount of frozen veggies that have no salt added. She's a bit heavy so I avoid adding rice (I would normally add this if she didn't have those extra few pounds). We steam the turkey and add the cooked veggies and mix. She takes a supplement for the vitamins and minerals she might be missing This diet is with our vets blessing. Of course the other two can't resist Missy's food so they always get some of hers mixed into their kibble.
