To this very day, I cannot listen to Ray Charles singing his well known song "Georgia", without thinking of my beloved Foxy Jean.


I say now Foxy~~~~~Foooxxxyyyy~

No Peace,------- No Peace can I find,

But an ol sweet song,~~~~~~~ leaves Foxy on my mind.

Sounds so sweet and clear, like moonlight on the pines~~~~

Dukedogsmom~(blows nose, then wipes eyes) Let's pass up on the kleenix this Christmas and actually open up the glorious gift that our Beloved Rainbow Dogs gave to us~ It is so empressive !!!! These dogs will forever be a part of us. ( piano keys,~~ closing of the song) I now feel so whole. I now understand what Christmas can become.

We , on this memorial thread, feel a "sacred" understanding and Yes, We will forever recall every single moment spent with them , confirming the reason we loved them as well as knowing why we loved them so much.

I thought I was doing so good. While getting out the Christmas decorations, your stocking with your name on it didn't bother me so much. But tonight when I took out your ornament with your name on it, well, all I can say is this Christmas is going to be hard.
Just wanted to post a few pictures of Mandy, these were before I was on Pet Talk. A few were in a video I posted a while back, but most of you probably have not seen them.
When Mandy was a puppy...

In the fall, her chocolate fur looked so good with the leaves...

and oh how she loved the snow, I called her my snow dog...
