Can you use Visa cards to pay for things around the world?
Because it does except cards.
Most places will take Visa. Have you tried to write to the president of the club and explain that you are in Canada? Maybe he or she can give you some idea of which payment methods that they accept would be the easist for you.

I would not use your Visa card until you check with the bank (call the number on the back of the card) and see what the exchange rate would be, and if you would be charged any fees.
But any bank in your area should be able either to exchange Canadian for American dollar for you, or tell you where you could do so.
