Mandy, fall is here, your time of year. It's cooler and the leaves are falling. How I wish you were still here. These colder nights I would be snuggling up to my big chocolate bear. We got a new puppy, she keeps us busy and has brought happiness back into our lives. Lacey needed a friend and I was just too depressed having lost you. But your absence is still felt every day. So many memories of you all around us, we know you are here with us in spirit. Some days I still can't believe you are gone, like it's just a nightmare and I will wake up. I know you are healthy now and running and playing, and I am happy for that. But I still miss you so...

My beloved Cody has been at the Bridge for 3 years now, and not a day goes by that I don't say his name, think of him with unending love, laugh at the fun memories. It will take time for the pain to subside, but it will become more bearable, knowing that there is no more pain and that Mandy is free and healthy and happy and with oodles of friends.

Remember, you have not replaced her and never will. You opened your heart to another pup who also needed your love. Mandy is proud and happy for you. She'd never want you sad; she loved you back with all her doggy heart.The most unselfish, noble thing you can do is release the suffering. Sending you {HUGS} of understanding and support.

I think it's hardest when those seasons roll around that hold especially sweet memories. The miracle of PT is that we come to feel like every dog here is a little bit "ours". I miss your Mandy, too. I hope she and my RB Rosie are racing all around heaven together, crunching through the leaves and smiling their beautiful doggie grins.
