That's what I used to think too until I got her. She's been like this since she was a pup and has been to the vet a few times since then just to make sure she's healthy and that there isn't anything causing her not to eat. I'm not sure if she'd actually starve herself, but she has gone about 4 days without eating much of anything until I went and got her something else. Do you have a Costco near you? My parents feed the Kirkland brand food to Reggie and Sydney and for the price its much better than other foods in that price range ($17.99 for 40 lbs I believe). Here's the only ingredient list I could find http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/images/...nd-chicken.jpg No, its not Canidae, Innova, Timberwolf Organics, etc....but I would choose that over Iams.
It does look ok. We do occasionally go to Costco. Thank you for that suggestion!
