If you wait till Friday the puppy will be dead. The symptoms you give are classic for Parvo. Dehydration can become serious along with other complications. If you wish to save the dog it will probably need hospitalization. Have your parents discuss with the Vet a payment schedule for the cost of the treatment. It will be expensive, and the longer you wait the worse the prognosis. Approximately 80-90% of puppies with Parvo not treated will die.Originally Posted by jagsjorge
P.S. Do not give the dog Pepto Bismol as different brands may have an aspirin compound in it when will cause more gastric problems.
