I don't like cake, cupcakes, or anything else cake related, and I don't like chocolate too much either..

lol I dont much like chocolate either, things like certain things not liked is normal, but a little kid who refuses sweets of any kind? he wont eat ANY type of candy, chocolate, cookies, cakes, ice creams etc.. lol the only problem I can think of with this is what the heck do you serve at birthday parties? lol

That's a high class problem to have. He probably won't ever become diabetic.

Maybe he can't taste sweets. I know there are people who cannot smell.

I dont like cake either its gross.

But I dont mind Ice cream but hate more than a bite of chocolate.

Becoming diabetic from eating too much candy is a misconception. You can become type 2 diabetic from eating an unhealthy diet and being overweight and inactive. You cannot cause yourself to become type 1 diabetic. Diet has nothing to do with that. If you already have type 2, you can progress to type 1 if you don't take care of the condition.
