We called all the local vets and visited both surrounding shelters. No sign of Balls. We walked out with Whispers to see if she would take us to him, but that was not the case.![]()
I guess all we can do is keep re-checking and keep searching and hope he shows up safe and sound. It has been since Friday with no food or water.
My dad said that a few weeks back he heard Balls crying and when he attempted to pick him up, Balls became very angry and cried more. It sounds like the same episode that happened on Friday when he escaped. My Dad said that within an hour later, he was perfectly fine.
That has given me some hope for the fact that maybe he isn't in pain, and can find his way back safely. Maybe he is trying to play hard to get, thinking he is cool for getting back outdoors. Positive thoughts help!
