Our trip to the Mosel-Valley in Germany (2 extra pics added!!)

We saw lots of typical German houses!

Look at this narrow house, how it fits between the other houses!

Of course, when you travel to a "wine-region", you HAVE to taste the local wine! The quality of the white Mosel-wine is worldfamous. A place for tasting is called "eine Weinstube". This in one of the 2 places where we went! You can taste and buy wine directly from the winegrower

We found a lovely craftshop in Bernkastel. These benches at the intrance were loaded with oh sooooo tempting goods

I bought these 2 cuties for my collection!

Oh how I would love to visit my cousins in Germany. How beautiful is that castle. Love your pics!!!!!! Looks like you had a great time. I love the German arcitecture.

Lut - I always enjoy your vacation pictures!! These are just beautiful

Some of them look oh so familiar from our own visits. I think the German cities are so clean and pretty. The shop owners seem to make the entrances so inviting and gracious.

I especially liked your "romantic Mosel" picture - ver artistic!! Of course, the wooden kitties at that one place would make me stop by!!
