No trips to shelter 2newfies and a very enthusiatic boxer and 3 kitties also one very old rabbit(17yrs) are enough. Yes I'm inheriting a 12year old simease from the daughter they feed her crappy food and can't understand why she sheds so.I 'll be posting pics later.

No I don't think so. I am a sucker for older pets most of mine do die of old age , Merlin was the exception but just couldn't let him hurt any more.

Yay! That's so great!
My in-laws are in that "can't get the kids out" boat too. Hopefully one day they will be as lucky as you and have a house to themselves. My husband has 2 younger sisters who both moved out and then moved back. One of them moved back with her husband and baby.

That must feel wonderful!
Just when we were starting to smell freedom with the second kid heading off to college, she has a baby and is cemented here for a long while (not that I'm complaining since the baby is an awesome addition.... but the freedom was within reach!)
Congratulations! Enjoy the "peace" - as much as the bouncy boxer will let you, of course!
