Are you the only one who can go "off topic" to deliver personal comments?

Sara is never bitter but is so often right on target with good old common
sense comments on many issues that others make quite complicated with
    twisted logic.

I haven't commented on Richard's original comments because they deserve
none. Rixhard can spout off any opinions he holds..

I have had heated discussions with Sara at times too but we somehow manage to remain friends. I figure if Mary Matalin can live with James Carville (GAG!). I can tolerate Sara in small doses. LOL! I do think there is a reason why some things should remain *classified information.* Apparently the press does not. I object to people being put in harm's way because of careless reporting for the sake of ratings.

So does that mean I can't come and live with you Pam??????

The press has agreed to not publish some information during this Iraq situation and after the bombing in NYC and Washington.

To me the issue is WHO gets to decide what is classified and what is not.

The intention of the constitution is a balance of power....and the press to keep the government in check.

    I like that idea.

I don't watch tv news as I think it tries to tell stories in too short of burst....ratings and all that. Not enough in depth.

I'm a little teapot short and stout here is my handle......

Dude, do you want to see me spout?

My only concern is with the safety of the people being evacuated from the area.....

I would not want to be treated like a target in some cheesy shoot em up gallery......

Before we go on with the subject...

I have to say that PT is one of the neatest places to post things.

We can all agree to disagree, but we all get a chance to voice our opinions.

    ===================

One of the most delightful people that I have met on PT is the one with opinions that are directly opposite of mine.

She has invited me into her home and made me feel like I was a welcome guest.

(I know she sprayed Lysol on the seat where I sat, after I left...)

    Kidding...

Actions do speak louder than words.....

People who defend freedom are a varied bunch.

Some carry rifles, ride tanks or fly planes.

Some clutch a document 230 years old, to their breast, and use that as their
    ideal.

    I admire them both.
We can do it both ways because we are in a special place.

I really pray that one day we can resort to hitting people in the head with a rolled up dream, instead of dropping bombs.

    P.s.
    I'm a lover, not a fighter......

    But I do wrestle!

I would spray the lysol too and I share your opinions hahaha j/k

I think that was a nice thing to say and it is very true. Not many people can sit around and discuss politics and still be friends at the end of the day.

P.S- wrestling can be a form of loving haha

R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

    Wow,

    LOL,

I heard that phosphorus was being used in bombs being dropped in Lebanon....But no mention of the sky rockets being tossed into Israel by the Hezbullies....

You know, the missles packed with the ball bearings....

And the reports from Kofi Anan about the UN personnel that were killed by the Israeli bomb..

I barely heard about the 'blog' that the Canadian soldier kept....

He reported that the bombs were "danger close' but did say that they were being dropped for 'tactical' reasons.....

    nuff said.
