Yep, Lily and meowmie saw a great match last night! It was only the "little final", but the fans celebrated as if Germany had won the Cup. May sister and BIL, who live in Stuttgart (where the match took place) but who are on vacation right now missed a great event. The party lasted all night. Our team showed up on the balcony of their hotel, where they were frenetically celebrated by thousands of fans.

As I type this, I can hear the car horns outside, for the very last time. Guess this is coming from the Italian community here. If they win tonight, we will have a hell of a night here.

Hi Lily! Cosmic Cat Nip for everyone!!! I'm so happy to know that your team won that game. Even though there isn't much soccer here in the US, seeing you proudly wearing your team colors and cheering for Germany made me cheer for them too. Concatulations to your team on a job well done! There's no doubt in my mind who their biggest and most loyal fan is.
