Yes, it was, even though I'm not too happy about it.

I hope David Odonkor can still turn the match around. At least they all play more offensive now after the 0:1.

    omg omg omg.
Argentina's keeper just got injured... This is a bit scary, especially if the math ends up in penalties

LOL, you can't imagine how nervous I am! Abbondanzieri (Argentina's original keeper) is awesome in penalties, but I'm not sure about Franco...
Anything could happen now, so... good luck for both teams

    YAY!!!!!

OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!! You should hear what's going on outside here!!!!

Anita, I was so nervous, too, and I'm sorry for Argentina!! Losing a match by penalties is never fair, and both teams were great!

In the end, the Germans were a bit more lucky, maybe because Abbondanzieri was injured.

I never expected this after the 0:1, but I'm so happy for my team!! The entire country will have a huge party tonight, it's already beginning. You should hear the people screaming outside, it's amazing!!! Wow, what a match!!!

I can't believe we're out Well, at least I can be very proud of the team, they did it great all along the tournament... This match was really hard, and anybody could have won...

Now I have to wait to the next cup, on 2010, I guess

Anita, I know how you feel!!

During the entire match, I was almost sure that Argentina would make it, so I was already feeling like this ->

You're right, both teams fought hard, it was a very tough match, and you cannot say that anyone was better. I think it was just luck in the end.

I had no chance but to get the result:
our neighbors have a huge party , like 20 people in the garden, TV outside, a makeshift tarp tent above the TV so it is not too bright to watch- and then the penalties: YaY!!!!!!!! ooooooooh! Yay.! ooohhh! ......until Yay! YAY! YAAAAAAYYYYYY!

I never was a good patriote if it comes to games but now with all my PT friends it's even worse: you know somebody in any country.

LOL, Barbara, same here with the garden parties!!

But it's true, as much as I'm happy about the results so far, I also feel sorry for those who cheered and hoped for the other teams.
