Mine that was just removed could not be felt by me, my doctor or the surgeon and was only detected by mammogram - so it is equally important to have the yearly mammogram after the age of 40. While it might be slightly uncomfortable it is well worth it, it could save your life. If I had not had mine at 40 and had waited until 50 it is more than likely that my abnormal cells would have become Cancer. So ladies, save your life, have your mammograms!! There's my bit of preaching.
