Louisiana? Anybody?

Where in Louisiana? My boyfriend's from Leesville, and, his family still lives there. I went there for Easter, and, was on the Sabine River for most of it. Swam in Toledo Bend. And, gambled in Lake Charles. Fun, fun, fun! But, yeah, depending on where you're at, if we're going to get together in Texas, Louisiana folks might not have far to drive. I know it's only five hours from where David lives to Leesville!

Shreveport. I think it's about thirty miles north of Leesville! That's where my sister and youngest brother were born! I was thinking about conjoined Louisiana/Texas meet but didn't know how that idea would flow amongst others.

Oh, yeah, I'd be down for that. I'd be cool with driving four or five hours somewhere. No more than that, unless it was going to be a huge gathering, like the ones in Utah. But, for a few folks, heck yeah, I'd drive. Shreveport's not far from the metroplex at all...we could meet at a point between Houston, Dallas, and, Shreveport...if there is one.
