What a lovely tribute Kirsten to your beloved Katz. She had a lot to deal with in her life, but she had the best meowmie to help her through it.

May 3, the day of her passing...
I remember this dreadful evening so very well; the last time she played, how she ate, how she jumped onto the kitchen counter to help me cooking, and how she suddenly began to stare into the air and how she started this weird "dance" with her front paws... and when she finally jumped down, she fell to the side and couldn't walk anymore. That was the moment I called the vet and asked her to help Katz over the Bridge the same night...
R.I.P. my little one.
Mommy will always love you and never forget you.
But mommy does also know that she would never have met Luna if you hadn't done your final journey on that day in May 2000. By going to the Bridge, you sent me the most wonderful kitty friend to live with me...
