They stopped making jury duty tied only to voting several decades ago because people stopped registering to vote so they wouldn't have to get called on jury duty.

Where I live, in Hamilton County, it is tied to voter registration. Not land lines. I wouldn't ever be picked to serve..I don't have a land line, and I am registered!
