Thank you for your replies. It is difficult but I will just keep working on it. Jett, the resident cat is just terrified of the new cat. She wants to stay in my bedroom while the other cat is out for the most part. Yes, I wish I had gotten two at the same time!! Oh well, I'll just have to be patient I guess. I will ask my vet if it doesn't get any better. My dream for them is to live together in peace at this point. I'd love it if they would be friends though! Update you guys soon!
