Raw egg yolks and whites by themselves do not contain the ideal 1:1 - 2:1 calcium/phosphorous ratio. In order to obtain the proper ratios, the ideal method of feeding would be to feed the egg whole, shell and all. Just crack an egg into your dog's bowl and they usually gobble up everything by themselves. If not, you can back the egg shells in a 325F oven for 5-10 minutes or until brittle. Let them cool for a few minutes and then grind them into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle or blender. You can be creative.
