RIP Taffy =(

All of these comments mean so much to me.

When I was at school yesterday, I told one of my friends that he died. She just said "Oh, well...I don't think you liked him that much anyways. Why don't you just get another one?" That really upset me....She did apologize when she realized that it hurt me, though. My other friend (who is a huge animal lover, too) felt really bad and tried to make me feel better.

I'm just glad that I know he is ok now. I'm glad he died peacefully and before he went he had one day where he seemed so much better. I was really, really scared that he was going to get sores from laying on the same side and that they would get infected. I'm just glad that he is better now.

I just saw this! Oh my gosh. I am so sorry.. I hope you know Taffy is in alot better place with no pain, but I know he lived a very happy life with you.

Thanks I still miss him a lot, but I know that where he is now he is ok.

Last Tuesday, one month after Taffy died, I got a letter from Orphans of the Storm animal shelter (http://www.orphansofthestorm.com/) My cousin donated some money in Taffy's name. That is one of my favorite shelters around here, and they really deserve the money they got. They are such a fantastic shelter and take such great care of the animals there. It made me so happy to get the letter from them, and I sent a BIG thank you to my cousin.

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my chihuahua 12 years ago and it still feels like yesterday when I had to put him to sleep. He had been a part of my life from the time I was 12 yrs. old 'til I was 27. I don't think I'll ever get over it.
