I'm glad you think it's a good idea. I realized afterwards that I may well have sounded high-handed. It's just that I'm at work, coping with a number of deadlines and several crises, but really concerned for both the cat and Gina - so I keep popping in and out, making fast posts.

I've been helped by other people so many times, especially when I was younger, and those people always said the same thing "pass it on". So, when I can, I "pass it on".

    hello,

first of all, thank you corinna for starting this! I didn't know where or how else to start this and ask for good thoughts. with so many things going on around here - right now, a couple problems with IMOM (possible of being disqualified), stove repairguys are here and how miles is, to keep an eye closely on him (a hand on him for his breaths too because I can't hear) and am in heavy tears, I'll have to make this really short for now.

lizzie, thank you so much for thinking of that! because of kuhio able to send over a donation to me today, (a big thankyou hug) I made an appointment for miles tonight at 6PM. see, I now could at least pay a vet visit but I found to pay $200 extra (for deposit) of him staying overnight which is not on my hand right now - do you think you could help with that too?

tonight at 6PM only for consult and exam fee and hopefully some more pain killers if they're under my budget as of what I have on me right now, and would probably have to take miles back to home with me regardless if the surgery is required, most expensive operation. his back left femur would have fallen off completely if there were no skin connection. I'm just hoping for another miracle alterative treatment.

gotta go - sorry for typos if any seen, and thank you all for who would keep us in your thoughts & prayers! ((((hugs))))

Gina - I just sent you a pm for your vet name and number, but perhaps you want to post it here. Miles needs help and people want to help him. I'm relieved that he is going to the vet tonight.

Gina ~ Same here. (I've sent you a PM). If you'll give me the vet contact information, I'll phone them and give them my credit card info. That way you won't have to wait for the check to get there all the way from Alaska.
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

kuhio, with lizzie and me, there should be enough for tonight. await of your check should be okay - but if ever need your help too tonight, I will contact you right away - I will have my pager with me and I can PM you from it. just stay online (if you can) around 6:30 - 7PM and keep an eye out? I just don't want to flood up the vet hospital yet. (anyone wants the vet name and number can be PMed by me) -

we now are going out to see vet for a confirmed diagnose and an estimate IMOM is waiting for. we'll be back with an update, hopefully better than what I thought!

    bye for now.

    live update..

the bad news is 3x worse.

I'm here at the vet, waiting for miles to finish his xray with better views. he was moving too much because he's in very painful pain, and are going to sedate him a bit so he can relax better. . .poor my little guy. while the vet came back, (asked if he could sedate) told me he possibly would need either a plate or intramedollary pin. and that's $1,000 extra than I thought. the more cost is, the more how painful he is.

however, two best things have happened here, miles even purred and gave happy feet for so long!! I've never saw him doing that on table. it took a while for the vet to listen his heartbeats, he was purring too loud, louder than usual! it broke my break but at the same time, joyful tears! second, oh my, a litttle miracle! after all I've been in hospitals/doctors myself, with their lousy service, them not providing an interpreter at all, so no effective communication, understanding, etc. well, miles's doctor called another doctor just in a second and I never knew she's deaf too! believe me, this appointment have went 4x faster than communicating (writing, writing and writing) on papers, asking questions and answers. it's soooo good to be able to 'speak' my language in for so long! - wow, did not realize my signing have been out of shape! funny, she said she didn't came here for work, only to bring in her dog for a bath, guess it was meant for me and my dear little boy! also, am already impressed with their service, attitudes so I think I'll stick with this one!

miles still is not back yet, I'm waiting still. I hate to wonder how's he doing in another room.. please continue the good thoughts that things will just go smoothly for him!

p.s. kuhio, our PMs - he'll need to have his surgery at specialist, not here.. sorry.
rest and sleep softly sweet locke..
