    Speaking of burning rubber, you just reminded me that I used to sometimes have a Cup-a-Soup for lunch. You know the sort of thing? Sachet of dried lumps that you mix with boiling water. Absolutely disgusting, but handy for lunch and very low in calories. When the third person in a week told me they could smell burning rubber round my desk, I stopped eating them!
