Filou is very happy that his Aby friends from Vermont won't have to see him in braids but in cool Lederhosen. He says it is right that winter in Upper Italy is quite cold this year but that they will for sure find a fireplace where they can curl up in front.

He says it's a pity that there are no climbing competitions at the winter Olympics as he would love to be part of an International Monkey team.

Olympic Village a 'cat'-cophany of sounds and sights!

With four more days before the opening ceremonies to the Games, the Village is slowly coming to life as the Cat-theles slowly tickle in. Many of the particpants are renewing old friendships and making new ones as their participation in their events draw near.

Some of the younger athletes have been seen catting around and having a few catnip parties into the early evening, but most of them have been keeping their eyes on the prize- the Gold Medal!

This reporter will try to give you up to date reports from the Village until the Opening Ceremonies!!

    Security Alert bulletin!

Security forces were put on alert when a wooden crate, with an address originating in the United States, was left at the gates of the Athlete's Village.

Members of the Bomb Squad were preparing to detonate the package when two as yet unidentified American athletes came forward to claim the box.

They assured the Polizia that the box did not contain and illegal or banned substances and opened the crate in the presence of officials.

As of yet those Cat-theletes have not been identified, nor has the contents of the crate.

CJ wants to submit his entries for hiding. He's a master hider.

And to prove he's really there in case you don't see his little nose peeking out.....

    One more entry for CJ.
