With the amount of practice Samantha has put in for the lap curling event, she expects a podium finish!

Cat-Olympics Report- Minus 9 days to the opening of the Games!

Yesterday the Cat-theletes Village opened with a ribbon chasing ceremony.
(It was supposed to be a ribbon CUTTING ceremony, but the attendees thought that chasing the ribbon was far more fun!)

And even though the security forces had some problems with plastic bags of cat nip being brought into the village the ceremonies went off as planned and
all eyes are focused on the ceremonies themselves.

Questions of who will bring the Cat Olympic flame into the arena have begun, along with who will be the Official Mascot. A preview of the Costumes for the Parade of Nation was met with positive comments from the participants, With the exception of the German men....

Braids were traded for lederhosen and all signs point to a great 2006 Cat Olympic Games!

    My girls are going!

They had a little pow wow over the weekend and have decided to go together. They are not sure which events to participate in, but they will, I am sure, find at least one event for each kitty.

I have packed their naps sacks and they are off to Italy over this weekend. I hope they can find a place to stay and not have to stay outside in the cold. It is cold here in Vermont but they stay inside all the time. Too bad the bunnies cannot go to keep them warm.

I trust Miley will keep everyone in line and not allow the little ones to stray too far from her side. Juni will be the one to watch.

I hope they meet up with other PT kitties too!

    Can't wait!
