Can I ask what mode you are taking your photos in? I can never get action shots to come out We have the same camera, btw.

These were just taken in normal Auto mode. It's not necessarily the camera or mode, more so the technique. Try following the moving object with your camera, and move it along with the object. That's how I took these.

I do follow the objects, but sometimes Nova and Luka are playing in one spot. If I use flash, it can usually get it the picture. But outside I don't use flash and the moving pics turn out blurry. I've read so much on the camera and tried lots of different modes and still can't get it. Boca is also something I can't get. Supposedly the Profile mode does that, but it never works for me. It's a wonderful camera, other than those two things.
