I'm so sorry to hear this Kim. When Sunny had his episode of straining the medicine that finally worked for him was propantheline. It's actually a drug for people but it helped him relax so he stopped straining. He took one 7.5mg pills two times a day for a week. I know that his problem was a little different because his was just due to stress and there weren't any crystals involved but it might be worth a try.
