Oooh, the poor baby! You can just see the hurt in that eye...I'm so glad your aunt found her and gave her such a better life. My Lucky is a Pekingese, but that Lucky looks kind of like a Shih-Tzu.

as soon as we got that new cage, we had to get another cover, so i just got some fabric so it fits and covers it all. But ever since that, spike will not be quiet when she is covered up. why is that? is it because its not dark enough? it seems dark enough to me, the fabric is thick enough.

I am so happy everthing is going so well with Spike.
Maybe it is not dark anof like you said.I think sheets have to thin of fabric.I cover Emmy with a black blanket

before i used a pillow case, that fit perfect over that other smaller cage, and that was thin. i was thinking..maybe she hears the tv and us talking and wants attention?

when they molt, do they lose feathers little by little, because spike is losing a little bit of feathers everyday, like the fluffy feathers underneath of her.

UPDATED:Jan 15th. Now spike is loosing her big feathers, is she starting to molt? just making sure because i dont want it to be anything serious
