we got one of this breed in our shelter at five the owner didn't want him anymore, you can guess he got adopted fast!

PEOPLE! You pronounce it SHEED - ZOO. So technically, it would be Bull-Shih (Bull-sheed). Actually, technically, its a moral and ethical tragedy and clearly shows a lapse of intelligence and responsibility. Oh Karma...where art thou?

That easied me just a bit. WHY IN THE WORLD would anyone want to ruin a breed? I guess cash would do it. Yes, I too am disgusted. MAXIMUS is a wonderful mix. But, I wouldn't do him on purpose. Just what do these "mixing" people think? I was telling a friend just yesterday...I almost stuck a lady with a pin. Yes, aiming for blood. She told me she just bought a puppy. A german/lab "doodle?" They are not supposed to shed. I was actually making a joke to her. I told her "there would be no charge for the fur."

This is THE WORST reason for breeding I have ever come across. EVER. JUST TO MAKE A FUNNY NAME! Sophie is so right, no one can even pronounce the breed right. My sister's friend got a shih-tzu and they pronounce it shit zu and so my sister is conviced that is the correct pronunciation
